We build and modernise production software
Web Arden builds and modernises production software, and puts AI into systems that already have real users.
The story
Web Arden started from fourteen years of shipping other people’s systems. The first were Magento storefronts and CodeIgniter applications in 2012; the most recent are a provider-agnostic LLM layer running in production and a Model Context Protocol server written in TypeScript. Fifty-five delivered systems across ten employers sit between the two.
That arc is the argument, not the nostalgia. The systems that need modernising are written in PHP, Laravel, WordPress and Magento, and the risk in replacing one is never the new stack — it is the behaviour nobody wrote down in the old one. Having built on those tools for a decade is what makes reading them safe, and reading them is most of the job.
So the work now runs in two directions that are really the same skill: building new products properly, and getting existing ones onto something maintainable without stopping the business that runs on them.

How we work
- You own the repository from the first commit, not the final handover.
- Scope changes are re-quoted in writing before they are built.
- Every client gets a portal — you should not have to ask for a status update.
- We choose boring, well-supported tools so you can hire for them later.
- Performance and accessibility are acceptance criteria, not a later ticket.
- If a rewrite is cheaper than a rescue, we say so.
The stack
TypeScript end to end, Next.js for the application layer, Postgres for data, serverless infrastructure by default. We also read and write PHP, Laravel, WordPress and Magento fluently — because the systems that need modernising are written in them, and you cannot safely replace what you cannot read.
Recognition

- Champion, ideaTHON 2020 — krishian.com, a hydroponics platform. Organised by the iDEA Project of the Bangladesh Computer Council (ICT Division), a Bangladesh–South Korea government initiative.
- Top 10, ideaTHON 2020 — dhakacast.com, a diabetic patient solution. Separately selected for the GP Accelerator, Grameenphone’s startup programme.
- krishihut.com approved by the ICT Division of Bangladesh — a multivendor agricultural marketplace built on Laravel/Webkul.
Where we are
Dhaka, Bangladesh — GMT+6, overlapping European mornings and US evenings. Most of the work is asynchronous and written down; calls are scheduled into whichever end of the day suits you.
